April 14, 2025, Toronto, Ontario — The National Cricket League (NCL) Canada has been granted a long-term license by Cricket Canada to run the eagerly awaited GT20, a top T20 cricket league that will increase the sport’s visibility in Canada.
By securing the cooperation between Cricket Canada and NCL Canada, the agreement strengthens Canada’s standing as a developing international cricket hub. With the long-term goal of creating a sustainable professional cricket ecosystem, GT20 is poised to grow into a significant force in the region’s domestic and international cricket scene under the NCL’s direction.
