Canada’s impressive 83 off 95, which included nine fours and a six from Pargat Singh, helped them overcome Oman by five wickets on Thursday as they chased down a target of 199. Singh easily won Player of the Match after contributing numbers of 5-0-22-2 when used with the ball in the first innings.
Each team will face the other twice during the No Frills T20 Cup, which starts on September 28 and ends on October 3.
